The Patient Experience Manager / Senior Manager will help develop and lead the implementation of high priority projects within the Kidney Care business. This role is a unique blend of strategy and operations that requires a driven, intellectually rigorous individual who puts great ideas into action. The Manager will function in a highly visible role at the forefront of our Clients focus on patient-centered care.

 

Essential duties and responsibilities:

The following duties and responsibilities reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive.

  • Support development of strategic direction, in partnership with senior leaders, for patient experience objectives, delivering against complex patient needs and business requirements
  • Execute on patient experience strategy to improve the experience of 170,000 In-Center Hemodialysis and 25,000 Home Dialysis patients nationwide and to enable industry-leading performance in ICH CAHPS, which impacts reimbursement and public reputation
  • Identify and lead strategic initiatives to execute world-class patient experience
  • Partner with a wide variety of business and clinical leaders to drive patient experience initiatives and increase awareness of Patient Experience objectives across the organization
  • Develop and retain a team, providing coaching and developmental opportunities that continuously build and expand both individual and team capabilities
  • Incorporate and live our clients Core Values of Service Excellence, Integrity, Team, Continuous Improvement, Accountability, Fulfillment and Fun in creating and managing this dynamic operational department

Qualifications

  • Six (6) years’ experience in management consulting or healthcare strategy / project management
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA a plus
  • Clinical background / experience a plus
  • Problem solving skills: Ability to structure ambiguous problems, think creatively, generate and test hypotheses
  • Project management skills: Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously; Experience leading large-scale, highly cross-functional projects
  • Presentation/communications: Comfort synthesizing information for and leading discussion with C-level executives, as well as field operators
  • Analytical skills: Strong quantitative background; ability to analyze data sets and support creation of financial models
  • Experience managing / coaching individuals on a team
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to build credibility across all levels
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and innovative thinking a plus
